Partner 7 - WANY Robotics will
provide expertise in robotics, especially in
multi-robots system and as a SME , it will help
the consortium to exploit the results obtained.
Partner 8 - SCIPROM is a young
Swiss company that supports researchers in
European and National projects, networks, and
research consortia. SCIPROM helps with or takes
over project construction, submission,
negotiation, execution and management.
Partner 4 - UNIL, University of
Lausanne, Institute of Applied
Mathematics (IMA), will provide expertise
in mathematical modelling in the social
sciences, complex systems, and agent-based
models.
Partner 3 - UJF, Université Joseph Fourier
Grenoble, Laboratory of Preclinical
Neuroscience, will provide expertise in
large-scale neural networks simulation,
spatiotemporal feature analysis,
neurophysiology, models for learning
processes, and bio-inspired evolutionary
techniques.
Partner 2 - UPC, Universitat Politecnica de
Catalunya, Advanced Hardware Architectures
(AHA) Group, brings a longstanding
competence and experience in advanced hardware
architectures and neural networks. This
expertise includes high-performance
programmable architectures, such as
field-programmable systems on chip.
Partner 5 - TUL, Politechnika
Lodzka, Department of Microelectronics
and Computer Science (DMCS), will provide
an experience in full custom design of
integrated circuits as well as in modelling
and synthesis based on hardware description
languages.
Partner 6 - CNRS-LIRMM,
LIRMM, Laboratory of informatic,
robotic and microelectronic of
Montpellier, has been
conducting for almost a decade research in the
area of dynamically and self-organizing
reconfigurable components. CNRS-LIRMM will
provide its expertise in defining and
designing the necessary reconfiguration
mechanisms at both the ubidule level and the
network level.
Partner 1 - HEIG-VD, Haute Ecole d'Ingénierie
et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud,
Institute of Reconfigurable
& Embedded Digital Systems (REDS),
will provide expertise in reconfigurable
hardware and bio-inspired mechanisms. The
members of the group have been long-time
leaders of well-known projects on the domains
of evolvable hardware, neural networks
hardware implementation, and artificial
learning mechanisms.
